The Museum is dedicated to preserving and developing the finest collection of restored naval aircraft in Australias heritage. Future plans include a theatre to enable the Museum to conduct seminars and conventions and also to enhance school visits. As funds become available, theme capsules will be added to the Main Museum Display Hall to depict significant aspects of Australian Naval Aviation, including stories of our carriers, squadrons and the men and women who served in them.

The Canadian Museum of Flight is a non-profit, volunteer driven museum dedicated to restoring, preserving and showcasing Canada's rich aviation heritage. It houses over 25 aircraft both static and flying.
The Canadian Museum of Flight is proud to present its fine collection of civilian and military jets, combustion engine aeroplanes, gliders and helicopters. Many of the museum's collection of aircraft have been restored to flying condition and can often be seen at local aviation events.

Its visitors can discover Long Islands pivotal role in mans quest to fly and they can explore the frontier of space at the largest and most historical attraction to grace Long Island. A spectacular air-space collection has been gathered throughout a 20 year worldwide search to locate air and spacecraft associated with, or built on Long Island. The eight exhibit galleries, housed in the Donald Everett Axinn Air and Space and Space Museum Hall, contain 70 of Long Islands air and spacecraft, arranged in chronological order.

It has been established to help educate the public to understand and appreciate the contribution military aircraft have made to our heritage, national security and freedom. The primary focus of the HFM will be on US Army Air Corps and US Air Force vintage "Warbirds": fighters, trainers, and liason aircraft. Besides aircraft displays, HFM plans to display aviation restoration projects, models, and memorabilia. Space flight memorabilia, historical presentations, and educational material will be displayed as well.

The Kansas Aviation Museum, in recognition of Kansas' place in aviation history, will be one of the few museums in the country to focus on general aviation. Opened in 1991, it is collecting, restoring and displaying aircraft and artifacts from the earliest days to the present and houses an extensive research library and is becoming a center for aviation education.

This Museum, preserving the history of Naval Aviation, is the most visited museum in the State of Florida and it's one of the largest and most beautiful air and space museums in the world. It houses over 140 beautifully restored aircraft representing Navy, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard Aviation. These historic and one-of-a-kind aircraft are displayed both inside the Museum's and outside. The Museum also tells the human side of Naval Aviation and features memorabilia from each era of fighting including personal mementos from historic battles, flight logs, vintage equipment, and flight clothing.

The Solway Aviation Museum is run by volunteers from the Solway Aviation Society. The society owns nine aircraft - the most prominent of which is an Avro Vulcan bomber. This was the standby aircraft during the Falklands War, and visitors may climb up into the cockpit - a remarkable experience.
Various aircraft fittings and equipment including ejector seats and instruments can be seen, along with various RAF uniforms, radio and radar equipment.
On display in the museum are various aero engines from early piston engines through to modern jet turbine engines.

Stepping through those doors is like stepping back in time. Specializing in the warbirds of World War II, the collection features rare aircraft that still fly. A restoration shop at the hangar ensures the aircraft look as if they just rolled off the production line. An exhibit hall features photographs, artifacts and memorabilia of World War II, including the K-ships built in Tillamook that were used to patrol the coastline for submarines and escort convoys. A small theater shows presentations of many of the aircraft in flight.
